I am having a problem with my computer. I freshly installed windows xp and I am now getting an error. It is Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error. With a Stop0x00000007a and it appears to be with file Win32k.sys. I have installed a new HDD (not a new Sata Wire) and It has nothing installed, including drivers. It loads into windows and about 1 - 2 mins later it either BSODs or just plain restarts. 1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi,The error codeKERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP: 0x0000007A states that the requested page of kernel data from the paging file could not be read into memory. It appears that there are some issues with the hard disk. You may try performing achkdsk from recovery console and check if it helps.Note: Performing this operation could cause loss of data on your computer; it is recommended that you backup all the important data on the computer priorStep 1: Followthis article to boot into Recovery Console.Step 2: After booting into the Recovery Console, you should be in this folder “C:\WINDOWS”.For each of your hard disk partitions, you should then run:chkdsk /rFor example, from the Recovery Console prompt, enter:chkdsk c: /rRefer to these articles for more information on chkdsk. How to perform disk error checking in Windows XPChkdsk in Windows XPRegards,Manasa P – Microsoft Support.
