Keep windows on top with Peak.
Hi I'd like to keep windows that i peak to stay on top. So instead of: Point to taskbar icon Point To window Click Would be just Point and point. Is there some registry hack that could do it?

Chris, I don't entirely understand what you're suggesting here. Can you be a little more clear about the behavior you're looking for?-Alex

Hi Alex I'm looking for way to activate the window , when the Peak Area(the small one) is hovered by mouse. When i hover the peak area i can see the window but when i move mouse away without clicking the window becomes hidden by other windows. I'd like i to keep it visible even if i will move mouse away from Peak Area. If you have somewhere Windows XP installed you could see this by using Auto-Rise script for autohotkey(AHK) program from AHK forum. (http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/topic22763.html ) You can use compiled version of it: http://rapidshare.com/files/239227168/AutoRise.exe.html or if you have Autohotkey installed you can use the script version http://rapidshare.com/files/239221102/AutoRise.ahk.html Tell me if thats more clear. Chris

Chris, I undertand now; thank you for clarifying. To the best of my knowledge, this feature cannot be enabled from within Windows 7, and due to the operating system's youth, not many UI hacks have currently been developed for it. Due to changes in Windows Explorer and Windows Aero, neither Windows XP nor Windows Vista hacks are likely to work at this stage, so I'd recommend waiting.-Alex

Funny thing, when i drag something through peak to the another program the second program becomes activated and stays on top. So it looks like the thing i asked for is almost implemented, but works only when something is dragged over Peak miniature.
