The search function in Windows XP suddenly stopped functioning and only performing a system restore got itworking again. The only change I had made beforehand was to uninstall a redundant version of 'Ad-Aware'from my computer. A second attempt at uninstalling the program had the same effect, having to do anothersystem restore to get the search function back.1 person needs an answerI do too
