Kaspersky Antivirus shows update due even after update
Kaspersky Antivirus and the Windows 7 action center both show that an update to Kaspersky is due even after I just updated it. Known issue? Any fix?

hi there,as far as problem is concerned , its related with the AV and not with the Windows 7 . Windows 7 as a OS does not update any of the virus definitions and even the security updates doent even bother about any of the AV installed.its all with the AV vendors who uses the API to query and update the AV database, so i would suggest you to consult AV vendor and ask if AV is compatible on windows 7 because windows 7 API has changed from xp .sainath Windows Driver Development

I had the same problem; i chose "Open Kapersky Anti-Virus" and chose "FIX" and then dismissed the message to get rid of it Travelguy

Same issue. I uninstalled Kasp and put VIPER back up. That works fine as does PC-TOOLS AV.I wanted a FW since COMODO does not work yet.

Some of the posts on their forum point out that the Beta update servers don't always update as regularly as the normal update servers, particularly at weekends. Here is a link to the latest build of Kaspersky Beta. Note that you will need to completely uninstall the version that you have installed before you can upgrade to the current version. The first link is to the build index to make it easier for you to locate the current build, whereas the second link is to the download itself. Note that the build index mentions 8.0.0.1072, however this version does not exist.Index to builds: Index of /devbuilds/Current build: http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/...0.0.1071en.exe
