Wondering if anyone in this forum has considered the KEMP Edge Security Pack (ESP) as a TMG replacement. We have only very good things to say about the Kemp LoadMaster devices as load-balancers, having used them since early 2010 with Exchange and SharePoint without any downtime, but have no experience with the ESP, which is an add-on.

Hi Jon,

I have implemented a number of TMG replacement solutions using KEMP and had no issues and I personally think it's the only true, honest replacement solution. A lot of vendors have jumped on the band wagon but when it comes down to the technical aspects, it does not do what it says on the tin.

We have primarily worked with Sharepoint, Lync, CRM, and Sharepoint but that does not mean to say you are limited. The in life KEMP product range comes with the edge security pack as standard and you can now add the Web Application Firewall pack as an additional layer of security. The WAF can be easily applied to the services like OWA and Sharepoint ... and much more.
