KB958690 and windows update error 800B0100
Hello, Hope Ive landed in the right forum. I have updates set to auto and having difficulty with an update from last night, specifically KB958690. I have tried to run the update several times and even downloaded the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista (KB947821). The error I have on the update screen in Explorer is : Windows Update error 800B0100 And the trace from the event viewer (setup) is: The Windows update "Security Update for Windows (KB958690)" could not be installed because of an error: 2148204800 "No signature was present in the subject." (Command line: ""C:\Windows\system32\wusa.exe" "C:\Working\Windows6.0-KB958690-x86.msu" ") Log Name: Setup Source: Microsoft-Windows-WUSA Date: 11/03/2009 15:15:38 Event ID: 3 Task Category: None Level: Error Is there anything obvious Im doing wrong? Regards, Neil
