I cannot update (KB3000850 ) on my Windows 8.1 x64.

the CBS.log after failed upgrade:

Ran dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth =====> No help
Ran sfc /scannow =====> No help

Also did a download of that KB package and tried manual update. No help...

You could try to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

We wonder if there is any luck your issue has been resolved after trying Windows update troubleshooter. If you've found solution by yourself, we would appreciate it if you could share with us and we will mark it as answer.

I read your CBS log find that

0x800f0922, last forward execute state: CbsExecuteStateResolvePending

Take the whole page when you tried to install this update. It might be caused by your boot folder corruption.

We wonder if you changed your default boot option such like PC had been configured to dual-boot.

If the issue persists, you could try to fix this issue by deleting boot file in your system and repair it from installation Media.

Warning: you might lose your current boot configuration.
