Just reinstalled windows and now I can't get a broadband set up
I just reinstalled XP Pro as it was running very, very slow on my desktop computer. I try to set up a new internet connection for an always open broadband - but there is nothing there! My laptop has both a LAN and a 1394 connection - how can I add a connection for an always open? Thank you! Cheryl1 person needs an answerI do too

Did you install the network drivers? If your machine came with a installation CD, there should have been a few others as well.Bruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]

I've reinstalled twice with the installation CD and nothing. Can you send me a file I can install?

The installation CD doesn't contain drivers, just the OS. What brand is the computer? Dell? HP? If you call them, they usually will help you out in getting the drivers you need. You may be able to download them to another machine and copy to CD rather than waiting to get them mailed to you.Bruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]
