June 28th update Causing Blue Screen of Death
Hi i am having problems with my PC, i feel i have narrowed it down to the two updates released on the 28/06/2011. Every time i install these updates my PC goes to the blue screen of death when i try to log in. So i hit f8 to do a system restore to before
they were installed and all is fine again.
I have since tried to install them again and time and time again i get the same problem and having to do a system restore to the point before they were installed for my pc to run 100% normal again.
Every time i shut down my pc these damn things keep installing causing the problem over and over again even though i have unchecked them in windows update centre.

Please use Microsoft Skydrive to upload dump files (c:\windows\minidumps). Once done, post a link here.

Yes I'm having the same problem. I run Windows Vista, and on the 29th installed KB2545698 and KB2541763. Then I had this blue screen problem. Like you Toonarm I did a system restore and it worked fine. Then last night on the PC I
think the updates automatically installed, this morning again, blue screen!
So can anyone offer a fix?

If there is a file named MEMORY.DMP, please upload it. Once done, post a link here.
I suspect that there is a conflit between the new installed update and one of your applications / drivers. Start updating all possible drivers, disable security softwares and check again.

I checked these updates, and find both updates can be installed in Windows without SP1. So I suggest you may try to download these updates and install them manually.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2545698
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2547666
For SP1 installation issue, please use the “sfc/scannow” command to check the system files consistency first. This will fix the corrupted files.
If after trying this, you still cannot install the SP1, please upload the latest CBS log to SkyDrive and post the link here. Let us help you analyze it.
Also you can contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. Please be advised
