Hi. I am running xp sp3 and I am intermittently unable to 'run as'. The issue resolves itself some days, only to return again a day later. It affects all applications. When trying to run as, it authenticates, but then the application hangs with an hour glass. I am using domain admin credentials. It affects mmc, AD users and computers, Media Player and others.In addition, the issue affects anybody else who tries to 'runs as' from the same pc.Any suggestions would be a great help.Thanks 1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi,If you try to start a program, MMC console, or Control Panel item from a network location by using the run as command, the procedure may not work because the credentials that are used to connect to the network share are different from the credentials that are used to start the program. Hi,Thanks for the response, the run as aspect works fine and it accepts the credentials but after that point the application just hangs and has to be killed from the processes, this happens every now and then, if you could advise why this is?
