I'm trying to restore my operating system, Windows XP Media Edition 2004/2005 in replacement of the current OS that's just too much for me (OS UBUNTU) but I can't get the CDs to read. I can insert them, it comes up on the screen that it's trying to install but that's as far as we get PLEASE HELP! I need my Windows XP back! This never happens to a point I'd get on my knees and beg for your mercy if I thought it would help... Insert your CD, Cancel any pages that open, and Restart, Press F12, this will take you to the Boot Menu, Highlight your CD-ROM Drive using the arrows and press Enter. Follow instructions! You must delete data from hard drive and reformat with NTFS. Any problems, Post back!
