Issue with using UPN
We are running into an issue where users that log into their Windows 7 Enterprise machines using their UPN, experience a very long shutdown (as long as 10 minutes); and it appears showing that the issue is with the System Event Notification Service (Please
wait for the System Event Notification Service...); visible with Verbose Logging turned on.
If we log in with the Pre-Windows 2000 version, the machine shuts down almost immediately.
Any help or suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated.

You may open Event Viewer on a computer and see the detail event logs.
Usually this kind of issues are caused by network connection problems. I suspect that it is caused by the firewall or antivirus you have deployed onto these clients. Please temporary disable them and check the result.
Meantime you may boot in Clean Boot Mode and confirm if the issue occurs.
Perform a clean startup to determine whether background programs are interfering with your game or program
