Issue with blurr & font size with Windows 7
I have a new machine with windows 7, monitor size is 19. All of my programs are showing differently. Some are very blurry, some fonts are small, some are larger. I have tried everything from changing the resolution, the font, the calibration and Clear text.
nothing seems to be working and some of my screens are just very difficult to see. Any suggestions?
Thank you

Do you have the ability to post screen shots?
Have you turned off Clear Type? Have you tried setting your Theme to Windows Classic ?

How do I do that
Thanks

Go into Control Panel
Click on Personalization
You will see the list of themes in the main window pane, scroll down til you find the one labeled Windows Classic. Click on it to apply click OK to close the dialog box.

Hi John,
Thanks for the assistance. I am working on getting a new monitor, different size, hopefully this will resolve my issues

You know I was going to ask next about the monitor. If you use an LCD monitor, you should learn what the maximum resolution is for that screen. For instance I have 22" monitor, and the maximum resolution is 1680x1050 and if I set my resolution
to something smaller than that but the same aspect ratio (either 16:9 or 4:3) the screen does become blurry because what it does is change the pixels per inch which results in a "duller" or blurry image. So check to see if your monitor resolution is
set right. If you're running 1280x800 on a 1680x1050 monitor...it will look blurry...
Hope it helps,
