Hello, It looks like I am getting what other people have had with Windows 7 service pack 1. I ran sfc /scannow yesterday and it got about 63% and then failed. I ran chkdsk /f after that and it found a lot of errors that it seemed to have corrected. I then ran sfc /scannow again and it was able to fix some, but not all problems. There were 38 updates waiting to be installed, 37 actually installed without issue. I attempted to install Service Pack 1 again and it failed. I got the error: error_smi_primitive_installer_failed. I ran sfc /scannow again to see if anything else could be repaired, but I got the same 100% complete, but couldn't fix everything. I've pasted the log below, I'm sorry if it's too long, I just didn't know what to paste. If anybody can tell me what I need to look at or repair I would appreciate it.
