Issue: Not connected - No connections available
Hi everyone,
I have an HP Pavilion running Windows 7.
It was hooked up via the ethernet in one room.
I moved it to another room where there was no hardline access, so I was planning on using our wireless network.
Now, the computer won't even find the wireless network. When I troubleshoot, it says "no connections available."
At first, I wondered if maybe the computer was in a "dead spot" in our house, but I put a laptop right next to it and it found the wireless network fine.
Any help?

Did you turn on the wifi on the pavillion? There is usually a key combo to turn it on. Mine is the F12 key. SOme are Fn+F2, etc. Check your owners manual for what it is.
If you have wifi on please run the following
start>cmd>right click and run as admin>ipconfig /all . Take the output and upload it to skydrive or a file sharing service and give us a link to it in your next post.MS-MVP 2010, 2011, 2012 Sysnative.com Team ZigZag
