Is this Patch safe for windows 7?
So Avast is always warning me about DCOM Exploit. For what i can gather it is someone trying to hack the computer. Is the security patch MS03-039, designed to fix this vulnerability in XP, compatible with windows 7?

That bulletin was created in 2003, so the patch is probably in win7 already. XP patches are not compatible with win7. Try virus scanning with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (malwarebytes.org) to make sure you have no viruses.

it is not A problem With Windows 7...it is a bug with avast.just change your security software.
