Is there any way I can re-install Windows XP Home Edition without having to sign into my administrator account?
Hello.Last year I set a password on my computer, and now I can't remember it. I've tried re-installing Windows XP, but I need to sign in for that. I'm hoping if I re-install Windows XP, then I might have a chance of reseting my password. Can you please help me?1 person needs an answerI do too

Go into safe mode:Do this by rebooting your computer and tapping the f8 key until a screen with booting options comes up, use the arrow keys to select, "Boot Windows in Safe mode" and hit enter. When you get to your login screen you should see a NEW administrator account click it, leave the password blank.Go in and Make yourself a new administrator account, or change the OTHER admins aoccunts password from the user control panel.Shut down your computer and log in.Hope this helps.Young and Learning...
