We do not have this option in our RTM systems.
What is the version and the version number of your system?

Hi Arthur,
I've got Win7 Pro 32bit pre-installed on my HP laptop and I *DO* see this "Classic View State" option. In fact, the only reason I found this thread is because I too, was looking for a description of what this option does.
You can see a picture here -> http://twitpic.com/4nhhyd
Given the large number of Win7's I've installed in the past year, I can quite easily say the normal, OEM-supplied AND MSDN supplied, Win7 explorer Views options DO NOT look like yours above. They definitely do NOT have these "-OFF" and "-ON" text.
