Is there a way to identify reason for disk activity?
I'm running Windows XP SP3. Often I hear my hard drive doing a lot of disk activity for as long as 20 minutes or more. No likely applications show up in the Task Manager, and I don't think the app using the most memory is necessarily the same app responsible for the disk activity. I don't have any scheduled backups running, so that's not the reason. Is there software to help me identify what kind of read/write is going on in the middle of this? 1 person needs an answerI do too
