Hi. I have heard that this version of Windows 7 RTM - 7600.16385.090713-1255_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULFRER_EN_DVD.iso is the official final version that will be released on 10/22/09. Is this true? Or is this an academic version? I just want to know the truth about this. Does anyone know anything? Help me out. Also is there a service pack for Windows 7?

I believe that is the final version that will be released, no way of surely knowing until win7 is released and you look at the disc you bought.... Service packs come out for windows systems at least a few months after the release of the OS, they are big updates that sometimes provide more features to the system, squash bugs, and is a rollup for all previously released updates for the OS, so don't expect a service pack for a while...Hello!
