Is my PC broken? Cannot create system image.
HP G62 laptop. i3, 4gb. Windows 7 64-bit. I restored the system to it's original state using the F11 key. So I have a fresh install. I tried the "check for performance issues" and it came up with a list of programs that auto-started, I de-selected all of them, and restarted. Computer still seems to be broken. Control panel -> System and Security -> Backup and Restore -> Create a system image I get a box that reads "Looking for backup devices" and the computer hangs forever. I want to select "On one or more DVDs" but I cannot even select that. The following also hangs my system. Control panel -> System and Security -> Create and format hard disk partitions Is the computer broken? Should I try to return it under warranty?
