Is it still set for this Thursday?. 22nd
Hi just wondering if windows 7 in the UK is still set for release for this Thursday 22nd or is there any last minute delay suprises?. Ive orded Windows 7 pro retail and carnt w8t to format my vista to put windows7 on. Where ive orded it from it does say 5 days till release but was wondering if there where any delays. It still says though in my profile where i orded it from as still a preorder. I carnt wait until it says, Order Placed, Packing, Disspatched. and installed on my PC. What i dont want is a BSOD once installed lol. Thanks for any comments.

Or we may get it several days later...!!! Having said that, to be fair Win7RC has been pretty good on my pc. One or two hiccoughs and one or two quirks but nothing that wasn't correctable. Not bad considering it was only intended for evaluation purposes and I have been using for my main pc since day one of public release. So thanks for the chance.Old Mig15 pilot. Soon to be using Windows 7 RTM Vista that works.

Vote if answered or helpful, I am running for Office (joke)! As I hinted above, most of us Brits should now have Windows 7. PC World delivered yesterday (Monday 19th) along with Micro Anvika, Dixons and Currys. Amazon are slow, evidently they have taken the money so it should be delivered before the mail strike.
