Is it possible to setup VPN from Win7
Hi, I have the following setup runnig: @ office: Win2003 small business server @ home: 1 client running WinXP home, 1 client runing Win7 home When a VPN connection with QuickVPN (cisco) is made from WinXp (home) to the office this works fine When trying to connect via VPN from Win7 towards the office I get errors. What would be the better option, use the built in win7 VPN client or use the QuickVPN client (cisco), which checks can I make in order to establish the VPN from Win7 to Win2003?

Hello Glimps,Yes, Your Win7 VPN client should be more than enough to connect to your Win03 server. You should make sure that the protocol and settings that your using on your WinXP client is the same as on the Win7 VPN client. Right click on the VPN connection under network connections and click on the settings that apply to your situation.Commentator2

Hi, May I know what your VPN server is? This is also related to the choice of your VPN client. Since you are QuickVPN previously, please try the version which is compatible with Windows 7 and up-to-date. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT
