Is it only possible to have boring, plain text signatures in outlook express?  I want to create one with colorful text and a picture...
I have figured out how to create a signature in outlook express, but it is a boring, plain text signature. There is a "file" option in the signatures tab at the bottom, but I'm not sure what this is for, and there is no "help" topic for this option. It looks like I could import a file from somewhere else (has a browse button), but I've tried and it doesn't work. I also don't know what at .txt file is either... I want to create a colourful signature with varied text and a picture, but I don't think its possible with this email program, or if it is I cannot figure out how to do it.2 people got this answerI do too

Hi Schutzhundgirl, It is possible to create Rich Text signatures, but it requires an HTML file. I'd recommend searching the internet for "create outlook express signature" to find more information about creating Rich Text signatures as Microsoft does not provide any support for creating HTML documents.Cody C Microsoft Answers Support Engineer Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.
