Is any official way that I can upgrade my Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0 to SP3 on Windows XP?
I'm working on a VB6 project on XP and want to use the component XMLHTTP60 in msxml6.dll, with MSXML6 Sp 2(it comes with winXP), the component has a limitation that sending http request has to be smaller than 2048 characters, but in Sp3 (which seems like come with Windows 7, my win7 has it) ,the limit is gone. So we want to upgrade that msxml to sp3, and the Microsoft Website doesn't have this official upgrade, the latest upgrade I can find is to Sp2.I can copy the files from win7 to XP for sure, but we need to use it a lot, I don't want anything unsafe. Thank you!1 person needs an answerI do too
