Is SysInternals a real Microsoft product?
My other computer keeps flashing warnings from SysInternals saying that it is infected. It has disabled my McAfee software, won't let me run Microsoft's Malicious Software removal tool, won't let me shut down the computer from the control panel, open the task mgr., etc. It keeps asking me to buy the software to continue. It has hijacked my google & yahoo toolbars where when I click on a link, it takes me to an ad instead of the site. Does anyone out there know how I can handle this. I had to manually shut the computer down and am afraid to restart it.1 person needs an answerI do too

No, that's not a Microsoft product. It's a rogue security program that pretends to find infected files on your computer and tries to get you to pay for the program. Don't do it! To close its window, click red "X" in the title bar at the top of the window or press Alt-F4 on the keyboard. If you'd like to try to remove it yourself, see the Remove Sysinternals Antivirus (Uninstall Guide) at BleepingComputer.com . If you don't want to do it yourself, please read about the options for no-charge virus removal support from Microsoft. If you can't connect to the Internet, call 1-866-PCSafety (1-866-727-2338).Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional
