Is Remote Assistance invitations behind NAT fixed?
I want to issue invitations for Remote Assistance from an XP Pro SP3 computer that is behind a router. I read that Remote Assistance fro XP does not support NAT translation. But I think that info was a few years old. Can it do it now? If not can I do port forwarding in the router to make it work like you can for Remote Desktop? Thanks, Chas1 person got this answerI do too

You are far better off using TeamViewer , which is free for personal use. Then you won't need to mess about with port forwarding, etc.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
