Hi JakubThe OEM versions are always a lot cheaper than the retail version simply because they can only be installed on one computer. Microsoft does not sell the OEM versions directly to the public, these are sold to System Builders who install them on the computers that they manufacture. They are also avilable from third party retail, and online stores.If you are concerned about the offer you are seeing, just check that store to make sure it is legitimate. Hi Jakub This does sound suspicious. I have never heard of Microsoft selling an OEM version of Windows directly to the public and never seen them offer an OEM product for download. Just to make sure that it is legitimate, I would recommend that you call your local Microsoft office and verify that it is a legitimate website and offer. I have never heard of Microsoft selling an OEM version of Windows directly to the public and never seen them offer an OEM product for download. Ronnie Vernon MVP Probably depends on country. In Romania this was allowed until november 2008. But only for sale in shops, not download.
