Internet to Steam account hijacking.. now what?
I was browsing some possibly unsavory sites with firefox v3.0.11 when the brower froze, crashing the system. After a few minutes it presents me with a black screen and a cursor. After a restart I start firefox again, without restoring the previous session and the same thing happens. After another restart I started IE (7 i think) and the same thing happened. After I restart again everything seems fine except I notice that my steam account info has apparently been reset, username and password useless now. Obviously my system was attacked by some kind of web-borne virus, which got past Comodo v3.95 and windows 7 build 7100; I'm surprised it was so vulnerable. Does anybody know what the best course of action to take now is. Backup and restore has crashed for me every time I've tried it so there are no backups, and I'm worried about keyloggers and being a bot. Is there any way to see if my system really is comprimised or is there no hope beyond a fresh reinstall? Thanks in advance

Bad idea to surf the web there in those sites. I strongly recommend a Start up RepairAnd for the Steam Hijacked account thing try this.G'luck.RegardsW7 RC x64 running....

if you still use firefox, it would be a good idea to go ahead and get the add-on WOT
