Hi there,
So for the past months my internet has been really slow. I kind of stuck with it as I thought it would get better, but now can no longer deal with it any longer. So I checked on speedtest.net what my speed was and its really good fine: 51.01 mbps. Like going onto websites that have a lot of images, scripts takes FOREVER to come up, however, even trying to go onto google or speedtest.com takes forever as well.
Here are details that might help any of you to understand more, as well as a list of what I've been doing :
- I use Internet Explorer
- Computer is Windows 8
- I have cleared all cache, history, data, still not helping
These are the properties of my network:
Protocol: 802.11n
Security type: WPA2-Personal
IPv4 address: 192.168.0.21
IPv4 DNS Servers: 194.168.4.100
194.168.8.100
Manufacturer: Qualcomm Atheros Communications Inc.
Description: Qualcomm Atheros AR956x Wireless Network Adapter
Driver version: 10.0.0.270
- I also ran cmd: sfc/scannow & the results that came up showed that these files were corrupt? Should I be concerned?
Failed to internally open package. [HRESULT = 0x800f0805 - CBS_E_INVALID_PACKAGE]
Failed to OpenPackage using worker session [HRESULT = 0x800f0805]
>> This appeared everywhere in the CBS.log
- My IPv4 / 6 are both on automatic
- Changing it to manual and typing in IP addresses [found on other forums] still do not work
- Also, to note, maybe the most important thing is that my internet works perfectly in safe mode with networking ? I also disabled all services (hide all Microsoft services) & these are the startup icons, not sure if they are a problem.
Anyone know what my problem is? Would be great if you could help
Thank you!!
