Internet sharing over wireless cannot be ensured each time
Hi to all. My and my friend's computers have Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit. Here are the problems we face: 1. My friend and me share an internet connection over the wifi conection (we share an ethernet internet connection to the our wireles network over my computer's wifi device, ad-hoc). But vaguely, our network between computers does not work sometimes. It connects our PCs, but there is no internet connection in the network. (sometimes connection last long, when it is long there is a problem) 2. Each time i start the computer, i need to connect my pc. Then my friend connects too but sometimes the network says there is no internet access or/and there is no network access. 3. When we try this on a Windows XP machine, these problems not happens. 4. I create a computer to computer wireless network (ad-hoc) named "a" for this sharing. Sometimes i look up my network connections and i see another connections named a2, a3, a4, a5 in the same place. And also there is a connection named "Local area connection" or "Local area connection 2" (Maybe this is a bridge to the wireless connection from local network). And when these problems happens it says it is an Unidentified Network. Finally i have 3 connection. When i don't share there is one ethernet connection. Why when everything are fine there is a problem, and why there are another connections that i didn't created, and when xp working properly windows 7 has these network troubles. (I tried troubleshooting but it has no help)(Our ip properties are set to automatically)

Hi, I suggest you try to disable network adapter and then enable it to check if this issue persists. If this issue persists, please kindly refer to the following article: Error message when you try to connect to an ad hoc connection from Windows Vista or from Windows 7: "Windows cannot connect to <Network Name>" In addition, check for your Bonjour service, I would like to share a similar post with you: Unidentified Network appears every Windows 7 reboot and stops NW access Hope it helps.
