I work on web page for a client and just recently got a new pc using windows7 i can type in the host address and get to the login page but when i put in login details it won't load c/panel message internet explorer cannot display the page?I shut down my firewall so i have ruled that out could it be settings in internet options?I was using vista before and had no problems.

I personally have not come across any errors when trying to browse cPanel using Windows 7 and IE. However, what happens if you try to use compatibility view? Can you view the page OK using a 3rd party browser?

I suggest you temporary disable antivirus and check the result. If the issue persists, I suggest you check if the issue occurs on other Windows 7 computers. I just suspect that the engine of the website is not compatible with IE8. Arthur Xie - MSFT
