Hello, What type of laptop and what OS? Does this problem occur intermittently during the day or is the problem present only when he comes in each morning? If he restarts the computer, does it begin to work OK? Does it occur after the laptop goes into sleep or hybernation? Are you using Windows wireless client or a 3rd party software for the wieless connection? If you disable wireless and plug the laptop via ethernet cable, does teh problem still occur? I would begin by disabling hybernation, screensaver, etc. putting on an 'always on' power mode just to eliminate whether or not the problem is being cause by sleep/hybernation.Miguel Fra | Falcon IT Services, Miami, FL www.falconitservices.com | www.falconits.com | Blog

p.s. in the BIOS look under the processor for C3, C4 sleep states and disable them. There are known bugs with c states not waking back up properly. http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/cs-028739.htm Miguel Fra | Falcon IT Services, Miami, FL www.falconitservices.com | www.falconits.com | Blog
