Internet issues
Hello everyone. I just installed Windows 7 and I must say it looks like a huge improvement. I just have one tiny problem. Wireless: Network works, Internet works LAN: Network works, Internet does not work. On all my other PC's with XP I have no problems. When I first installed 7 I did not have any problems, I believe they started as soon as I got the first updates. Can anyone here help me with this. Thanks, Johan

I have already solved it, it was a matter of updating the driver for the network card. Why did I not think of that before? Now there is another thing. Is it possible in Windows 7 to make the default connection LAN and make wireless take over when LAN is disconnected. I believe, and the same with Vista, that wireless is the default connection for networking. I might be wrong of course.

It's not possible to change the order of network connections like that. I'm glad you were able to get your ethernet connection working though. -Nick
