Internet goes away after a while (when downloading large files / torrenting)
Hello, I have a weird problem that just occured to me recently. When I download files from a torrent my internet connection goes down. It completely disappears. I connect to the internet using a dial-up modem. I did random stuff to try to fix my connection such as: - disabling/enabling my LAN - disconnecting/reconnecting my dial-up - uninstall and installing my LAN - tried doing the winsock stuff - ipconfig release/renew - sfc /scannow <-- it says that there are no problems But whatever I do.. I have to restart my computer to get my connection back. Sometimes when I disable my LAN and tried reenabling it.. it becomes "not responding". Any suggestions? (This is driving me crazy). When I browse the internet it doesn't go away though (at least not immediately).

Hi, You may disable the Anti-Virus temporarily to have a test . This issue is most likely caused by the ADSL modem or the un-strong ADSL signal. Please try to contact the ISP for better help. Maybe you are limited by ISP.Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
