Internet explorer doesnt connect to internet
I have Windows 7 RC1 on my system and am behind a network proxy that requires authentication to connect to the internet. I have set up the proxy address under Internet Options>Connections>LAN settings. But when Internet Explorer tries to connect to the internet, it just refuses to accept the username and password for authentication. I also installed Firefox and the settings work fine there. Could anyone tell me whet could be the problem here? Update: I restarted windows and now it says "No Internet Access" in the taskbar networking icon. Firefox still works fine though. Thanks

I have the same problem. I don;t think we are using Squid. The proxy authentication worked fine with the previous beta release of Windows 7...but on this RC I am also loosing hope :-(
