Internet connection sharing option not showing
I am trying to hook my xbox 360 internet connection up through my computer by hooking the Ethernet cable from my xbox to my computer and enabling the shared connection on my wireless adapter. But the problem is, is that the option is not present to share the connection. The status of the wireless is (Connected, Firewalled) I need it to be (Connected, Shared, Firedwalled) I am using a Belkin Wireless N router and a Belkin Wireless N adapter.1 person needs an answerI do too

You have a router; you don't want to use ICS. Either plug an ethernet cable directly from the Xbox to your router or connect the Xbox wirelessly to the router. The computer doesn't get involved in any case.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

I'm having the same problem as above and your "plug and ethernet cable directly from the Xbox to your router" doesn't apply.. You see I'm not buying a $100 piece of hardware that MS refuses to lower the price on so I can get on Live when I can connect through my PC since I share the connection with others in my house and my Xbox is Upstairs and the router is downstairs.. I can't drill holes in the house and the cable is no where near long enough.. I had the setup working days ago and I was on live just fine but it seemed that after I activated some software that came with my wireless card (which is junk software mind so I don't use it) I have the option to let windows run my connection.. now it was working untill I started the other program up by accident. I tried to uninstall the program but it took all the drivers with it so I'm kinda stuck with it I'm guessing... it's a Ralink Turbo Wireless G card. I'm running windows XP pro with 2 gigs of memory. any info would be appreciated
