HiI am trying to sort out a Windows XP Home Media Edition computer. 90 seconds after a User logs on, internet connection hangs and stops Internet Explorer 7, Outlook Express 6, Firefox on any other browser working at all. It is still possible to Ping an external website at this point.Running in Safe Mode with Networking, there are no problems with Internet Access.Switching off any Startup programs when in Safe mode, then rebooting, does not solve the problem.I'm not sure what services are required to give the same effect as Safe Mode with Networking, so can't switch everything else off then work through the other services one by one.Any thoughts?ThanksRichard LT1 person needs an answerI do too
