After receiving the fake Internet Virus pop-up, I deleted the shortcut, folder, and EXE file and run a full virus scan with NORTON 2010 Antivirus. No risks were noted. The next reboot created a new problem. I am in a LOGON LOGOFF loop. The same condition is present in SAFE MODE. I can reach the command prompt via a NORTON bootable CD, but that as far as I can get.
