Internet Routing through a VPN Connection
Hi everyone, I've just set up a VPN Incoming Connection on my Windows 7 Ultimate Desktop, and I want to know how to configure it so that I can connect on my Windows 7 Laptop from school to route all my internet traffic through my home internet connection, so as to bypass the school firewalls. Is this even possible, and if so, how would I set it up? Thanks.

Hi, use this: Start - Control panel - Network and Sharing centre - Change adapter settings - right click on your VPN connection - select Properties - Networking - TCP/IP v4 - Properties - Advanced - check Use default gateway on remote network then, if you open Internet browser and type http://www.whatismyip.com/ and you will see your home IP adress;-)

Hi, We are not able to know whether you could connect to the network outside the school with any kind of connections, such as VPN, Remote Desktop, etc. Therefore you need to contact the server administrator of your school network for more information.Arthur Xie - MSFT
