Internet Options won't open!
I am running Windows XP Pro SP3 - ever since I downloaded IE8, I can't open Internet Options in Tools or in the control panel. It also won't let me uninstall it.

What happens when you try? What anti-virus software are you using?-B-

Something flashes like it's trying to open, but doesn't. Trend Micro OfficeScan.

No, where would I find that?

Start> All Programs> Bureau accesories > System Tools > System RecoveryThen click the date before the incident happened and let it recover to that date. Also mind that some files may be deleted if u do so.If u don't want it you can undo it with the same options, read carefully though.

I don't have Bureau Accessories - only Accessories. Do you mean System Restore? Can't use that as it's been too long - I did try it several months ago, but it didn't help.

Well, too bad it's been that long. You could try using CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com) but I can't guarantee that's going to help.-B-
