hi,I am unable to use IE. IE after startup shows only part of the window. No menu items are shown. No web pages can be displayed. The problem occurs since yesterday. IE was working fine till then.Additionally I tried to use the 'feedback' option. I have got the following message:'Failed to retrieve Manifest'Unable to determine which questions should be answered for your feedback. This error cannot be recovered from.I have to mention that I started 'feedback' from inside IE8.0 and from the Desktop. Same result.The problem appeared after I installed 'Lavasoft Ad-Aware' (latest version) and 'Spybot Search&Destroy' (latest version). Unistalling both programs does not help at all.

Have you found out what your problem is yet? I see no one has posted a reply or answer? You haven't by any chance tried to install the new IE8RC version have you as they have said we can't use it yet that we must useIE thatcomes with windows7 beta?? Just wondering if you got it corrected plus would like to know how you corrected it as it may come in handy some time later. That is what this is all about the learning. Thanks for your answer chamblisstom.I did'nt try to install IE8RC.I solved it very simple, just recover from a previous restore point. Now IE8beta (coming with Windows7 build7000)is working fine. I will try again to install various programs for Vista and see what happens.
