Internet Explorer 8 (windows 7 pro) slow connection to https client certificate site after joining windows 2003 server DC
Internet Explorer 8 (windows 7 porfessional) slow connection to https site if my workstation is joining to domain (windows 2003 server Sp2). If I remove the workstation from DC, the ie8 connection is lighting fast to loading up the pages from the https site.Joining the workstation back to the domain, same thing happens.enabled or disabled the firewall, same issue..testing with 2 different ISP connection, same issue. The https site is using SSL client ceritificate, the https site is working fine as no issue with DC clients on VIsta with IE7, IE8 or winXPsp3 IE6, IE7 or IE8.the only different is on "Network and Sharing Center" will show "domain Network" when the workstation is joined to Domain. When it is not joining to the Domain, it will show "public network".any clue. please advises. Frank

Hi Frank, I suggest you first check the following KB article: SSL (https) connection slow with one certificate but faster with othershttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/295070?p=1Also, you can post the issue to Windows Server forum via the following link: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/windowsserver Hope this helps!Sean Zhu - MSFT
