IE8 has been flickering after Windows 7 updates were installed, it was working fine when I first installed Windows 7 not sure which update might caused this problem. Any feedback will be appreciated Thanks

It can be due to your Display drivers or some addon. Hi, I would like to suggest you reset Internet Explorer settings to troubleshoot the issue. If it does not work, you may perform a System Restore and install the updates one by one to find out which update caused the issue. Regards,Arthur Li - MSFT

I uninstalled Adobe Shockwave and flickering stopped. Thanks for the help.

I don't know how much this will help as I'm not very tech saavy but recently I purchased a Sony Vaio with windows 7 64-bit OS. The version of IE8 that came with it, worked fine but I kept getting a message to upgrade to IE8 - obviously a different version. Once I upgraded, my flickering problems started. After some research and seeing so many different solutions I decided to revert back to the IE that my system came with which is version 8.0.7600.16385. Flickering problems solved!
