When I open Internet Explorer I get an error the says "Internet Explorer has stopped working" I tried do the suggestions of disabling the add-ons and still has a problem. I then tried to open Microsoft Security Essentials to run a scan and got the same error when it said it couldn't find a program to run it. Dell 580 Inspirion Windows 7 op system.
