Internet Connectivity Problems
I currently am running a computer with Windows Vista conneted to a Linksys WRT54G router and can not connect to the internet. Other computers(With XP and Vista) and devices(Xbox 360 and PS3) on my home network can access the internet. One thing I noticed is that when DHCP is enabled, the computer will not obtain correct information. This information includes an IP address of 169.254.52.151, a Subnet Mask of 255.255.0.0, there is no DNS or default gateway. I can manually put in information compatible with my router but it will still not connect to the internet. I appreciate the time you took to read this and any information you can give would be helpful. I have tried a few solutions but I am open to retrying them, so don't hold back any possible solutions.

Hi, have you tried connecting directly to the WRT54G with a LAN cable? Sounds like the WEP password is wrong on the Vista machine. It will show connected but not have access to grab a DHCP address or even go outbound with a static IP (192.168).
