Internet Connectivity Issues, Windows 7
Hi, This issue might be caused by the router. Please run ipconfig/all and capture the IP address information, and upload it here. I will check it for you. Please also check if there are any proxy settings on Internet Explorer. 1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer. 2. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options. 3. Click Connections Tab, click LAN settings Please select Automatically detect settins Best regards, Della Li

Dear Internet/Windows 7 Gurus, Here is a doosie! When the internet goes in the modem to the router, both wireless and wired connections achieve "no internet access" When the computer is directly plugged into the modem = internet access This is true for multiple laptops on windows 7. The computer on windows vista is has no problem connecting. This problem also holds true across multiple brands of routers. This just started happening within the last couple months. Additional interesting fact I just tested... When the computer is connected to the internet directly to the modem, it has internet as I said above. However, the second I turn on wifi and connect to the router, which has no internet plugged in, the direct connection from the modem stops working. What windows security is blocking all internet once the computer is connected to a router. Please help me, this is starting to get ridiculous. The soon to be very grateful, Deskjethp
