Internet Connection Sharing
Here is my Problem. I am a student at a University and I have wifi internet with no security. However, once connected to the wifi network, I'm required to log in to the University network via web page. Well, that works fine for my laptop and desktop. It does not work for any other wifi enabled device with no browser for example my Xbox or Blu-ray player. So, to work around this issue, I would like to share my desktop's internet connection (the university wifi) to a wireless router via ethernet. I connect the ethernet cable from my desktop into the wireless router. I share the internet connection (university wifi) to be used on my network. I thought that was all that I needed to do. However, when I try to connect my laptop to my wireless router, it connects but has no internet connection. I can access my wifi router from both my desktop and laptop so I know they are both connected properly. The problem lies somewhere within the share internet connection I just cant figure it out. The Host computer (desktop) runs Windows 7. Please help if anyone knows a work around.

I am pretty sure it cannot be done, however if I were to attempt this, I would try bridging the wireless and LAN interfaces together. Right click on both the LAN connection and the wireless (make sure both are highlighted) and hit bridge, it will turn off your ICS and may work but I am not 100% on that.
