Internet Connection Dropping
The following problem has very recently started happening on my laptop Sony Viao Intel Core i3 Windows 7 Home When using Internet Explorer 9 or Google Chrome, randomly after using the Internet for a while, I can no longer open new web pages. The problem spreads to all apps such as Outlook, Download Managers ...etc. The strange thing is that it does not stop any pages that are currently open e.g. if I am streaming a video or have a page open that is auto refreshing. It also doesnt close the connection to an exchange server if outlook is already connected. I can not open the router management page either which is strange. Next time is happens I am going to check if I can open a locally stored html page. The only solution is to restart the PC. It is not the router because I have switched from LAN to Wireless and there is no change and I have used other devices on the same router and they work fine while the laptop is not working, Are there any solutions.

Confirm that the router has the most recent firmware and is updated. Then turn off all devices, power off the router, wait a few minutes, and reboot the router. Once all of the lights indicate internet is available, then boot the laptop and test a both wired and wireless connection. The problem could be your ISP has changed things.
