Internet Connection: Internet Access available at Network control but no access from the browser
There have been many time but the frequency of occurred is random. Upon PC start up , there is no problem at all, network connected as it should, be it wire / wireless. Network and sharing center report that i'm having internet connection and my browser (IE, Chrome, Opera) all can have access to internet. But on occasion, the internet connection from is suddenly loss, similar to this case here, just that his seem to be on start up and mine is a random occurring with no problem during start up. Browser will just keep on loading but never get any feedback though Network and Sharing center report that i'm having internet connection. I've tired restart the browser, release and renew the IP, enable disable the adapter but all yield nothing except a full computer restart. At the same time my phone and another laptop running on XP have no problem at all. Forget to mention, Running Windows 7 Home Premium, with Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network Adapter and Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet.

Hi, Based on my research, when issue occurs, please try the following: 1. Please check if all your browsers have the same issue. 2. Check if you can ping your Windows XP machine, gateway and any website successfully. 3. Make sure that there is no Internet connections limitation by your ISP. 4. Temporary disable all your security applications and Windows Firewall and see how it works. 5. Update your network card driver to the latest. 6. Check if the issue will occur in Clean Boot Mode. If issue persists, I suggest using Fiddler to troubleshoot the issue. Note: The third-party product discussed here is manufactured by a company that is independent of Microsoft.
